I have been a member of the London Motoring Club since it began. It was the time of the Clamp, and having a 'friend' who could get me unclamped quickly and deal with towing, was hugely useful, particularly as I was self employed and needed to drive my car all over London on deliveries and collections.

Before this was available I got caught despite having managed to find a parking space outside my home. I arrived back from a trip abroad at nearly midnight. I was tired, and it was dark outside. I didn't see the Council notice that read that the following day the bay where I had left my car was to be suspended, so I was shocked when I couldn't find it the following afternoon, having finally surfaced after a long, jet-lagged sleep. After a lot of confusion I discovered that my car had been towed away.

I now find the Baywatch service invaluable. It gives me peace of mind when I travel abroad, knowing that if the bay where I've parked my car is suspended, my car will be safely moved to another residents' bay. I travel a lot, so it's well worth it for me.

Over the years I've found the London Motoring Club team to be amazingly helpful, on the ball, and down to earth, good blokes in other words. I also make use of the airport service with complete confidence that my car will be driven safely.
